A romantic assignation gone horribly wrong? A spy caught and executed? A victim of local witchcraft? Or just an ordinary woman in the wrong place at the wrong time? What really happened to ‘Bella’? \nA retiring police sergeant hands the case over to a young constable. Together they sift through the evidence and attempt to make sense of the multiple voices which weave through the witness statements\, correspondence and police reports\, which from the very start\, merge fact with fiction. \nDrawing from original historical documents\, this play gives ‘Bella’ back her own voice. The entries will be judged in three different categories\, 2-5 year olds\, 6-9 year olds and 10 and over. The winners of each category will win a Paint-Your-Own-Pottery session for 4 people at the Museum of Royal Worcester. Relax and try out your artistic skills in an inspiring setting. SUMMARY:Richard Delingpole – Painter & Illustrator
DESCRIPTION:As a painter and re-enactor Richard combines these two aspects of his life in a series of paintings started in 2011: The Front to Back series. This series\, now running to over 40 paintings\, depicts the front and back of different military figures through history. Most are soldiers\, but some other roles\, such as nurses\, are also featured. \nIf you’re telling the story of a soldier visually and don’t show the back view you’re missing out on what that soldier carried on his back. The paintings are illustrations of military uniforms but also a record of friends I have made in this hobby over the years\, as each person depicted is a re-enactor.\nUnfortunately I am only able to be present on the 22nd and 29th but the exhibition will be open as advertised in the guide. \nThis exhibition is part of the Worcestershire Open Studios Art Week.
