Community Health Expo

This event is free
The SDA Church community Health Expo is a free, one-day community health event offering practical health screenings and wellness education to all visitors. Hosted as part of the Worcester Festival, the expo provides an accessible opportunity for the public to check key health indicators and pick up simple, evidence-based advice for healthier living.
Visitors can access free health screenings including blood pressure checks, blood sugar testing, and basic fitness assessments, carried out by trained volunteers and healthcare professionals. Alongside these checks, there will be wellness and lifestyle education covering topics such as healthy eating, physical activity, and stress management, with friendly staff on hand to answer questions and offer guidance.
The event is open to all ages and welcomes the whole family. There are no age restrictions, though some screenings (such as blood sugar testing) are most relevant to adults and will be offered with that in mind. Younger visitors are welcome to take part in general wellness activities and education.
The venue is fully accessible, with step-free access and space accommodated for wheelchair users and those with mobility needs. Volunteers will be on hand throughout the day to assist any visitors who require support accessing the screenings or activities. All services provided are free of charge, and no booking is required. Visitors are welcome to drop in at any point during the day.
We would like to request that the event be held at Cathedral Square. As one of the most central and accessible locations in the city, this would allow the greatest possible number of community members to discover and benefit from this free, valuable service during the festival.
While this event is organised by a Christian organisation, our primary focus will be on providing the community with genuinely useful, practical health support, free from any obligation or expectation of religious participation. The expo is open and welcoming to all visitors regardless of faith or background, and is offered as a community service first and foremost.
