Queen Elizabeth House Open Day
August 27 @ 10:30 am – 3:30 pm

This event is free – donations welcomed
Queen Elizabeth House is one of the oldest and most interesting buildings in Worcester. In 1575, Queen Elizabeth I visited Worcester and addressed the population from its balcony.
Another interesting fact is that the building was moved in 1891 from over the road and nobody seems to know why! Queen Elizabeth House is now the headquarters of the Worcester Festival.
Please note that there are no toilet facilities, no disabled access, very low ceilings and uneven surfaces, so care must be taken at all times. There are only three main rooms so a walk round will not take more than ten minutes.
